While there’s a strong chance that you won’t want to leave Honeybridge Estate once you arrive, rest be assured there is plenty to see and enjoy around the local area, should you wish to explore beyond the estate.
THE LOCAL Grapevine
Did you know that Sussex is one of the most famous British wine regions? With over 1,000 hectares of vineyards, the county has become the epicentre of English sparkling wine and accounts for over a quarter of all the wine produced in the UK.
Honeybridge Estate is conveniently close to several highly acclaimed local vineyards including Wiston Estate and Nyetimber. A tasting excursion makes for a delightful day out.
COASTAL Calling
The nearest beaches beside Lancing, Shoreham and Worthing are a mere 20-minute drive from the Estate.
Within 40 minutes, you can reach Brighton in one direction and a little further away, you can reach the charming seaside town of West Wittering in another.
COUNTRY LIVING
The area is home to several family-run farms that open their gates to visitors, inviting them to learn about agriculture and meet various animals in residence.
For equestrian enthusiasts, there are wonderful nearby riding centres that offer lessons to children and adults.

Honeybridge Estate sits adjacent to the Knepp Estate rewilding conservation project and overlooks the tremendous South Downs National Park.
Both offer plenty of walking and cycling routes, as well as the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and observe wildlife in a myriad of ways.
Nearby Towns
The closest village is Ashurst and the nearest town is Steyning.
The towns of Arundel and Petworth are a short drive away and notable for their famous heritage sites, Arundel Castle and Petworth House.
There are plenty of tempting boutique shopping opportunities to ponder on, as well as charming cafes to pass the time over Afternoon Tea.
